Assignments & Responsibilities:
Priority will be given to crew based in Dallas surrounding areas and or Texas residents.
- Gaffer, this individual collaborates closely with the director of photography, sound specialists, and directors to realize the desired lighting for a scene, encompassing both its design and implementation. The role requires someone who has their own equipment. Responsibilities include installing and overseeing lighting fixtures, ensuring safety on set, and troubleshooting any lighting issues that arise. We are looking for a lighting technician who has a thorough understanding of lighting techniques, robust technical expertise, sharp on-set skills, and outstanding communication abilities. Furthermore, this role reports to both the director of photography, executive producer and the show-runner of the streaming television series.
- Sound Technician, this individual collaborates closely with director of photography, lighting specialist and director to achieve the intended audio recording for the production. They are skilled in both boom operation—as well as lavalier mics. The role requires someone who has their own equipment. Responsibilities include setting up and managing audio hardware, maintaining a quiet environment on set, and troubleshooting any audio issues that arise. We are looking for a sound technician who has a thorough understanding of sound physics, robust technical expertise, sharp on-set skills, and outstanding communication abilities. In addition this position is accountable to the director of photography, executive producer and the show-runner of the streaming television series.
- Art Department, this department is tasked with establishing the overall aesthetic of the series, operating under the guidance of the creative director. This individual will collaborate to design and organize each set and its components as envisioned by the creative director, who also serves as the director. In addition this position is accountable to the director of photography, executive producer and the show-runner of the streaming television series.
- Wardrobe Department, this department is tasked with aligning wardrobe to the characters. These wardrobe selections are utilized to amplify the personalities and themes of each character. This individual will work together to create and style every character, based on the vision set by the creative director, who also serves as the director. Furthermore, this role reports to both the director of photography, executive producer and the show-runner of the streaming television series.
- Production Assistant, this individual serves as a general production assistant in various departments, necessitating outstanding emotional intelligence, along with qualities like patience, kindness, integrity, and respect. They must create a seamless atmosphere and contribute to establishing a professional filming environment that minimizes interruptions. Responsibilities include assisting in readying the cast and crew for production. The individual will communicate directions from the director to both actors and crew members. Additionally, they should support the film team by addressing the needs of both cast and crew while consistently upholding safety protocols through regular inspections.
- Casting, WATZS Casting is actively seeking talent for minors aged 13-15 background and speaking lines as well as individuals who are 21 and older for background and speaking lines to portray various roles, including students (for minors), corporate professionals, local pub patrons, football fans, city and restaurant employees, and more.
Skill Set & Qualifications:

2-3 years relevant work experience in film and media

Experience interfacing with high level executives and filmmakers

Passionate about film production

Deep knowledge of film production support

Intuitive understanding of WATZS approach to creating

Strong organizational and project management skills

$420.00 per project day - 31 day assignment (Sound Tech, Gaffer)

$210.00 per project day - 31 day assignment (Art Department, Wardrobe Department, Production Assistant)

$110.00 per project day - Dates for shooting pending (Background extras/ minor roles aged 13 - 15 years old)
The opportunity takes place April 23, 2025 - June 2, 2025 and includes round-trip travel expenses from your home base or mileage reimbursement from your home base, in addition to hotel accommodations for individuals residing over 195 miles from the Dallas-Fort Worth city limits, and includes meals during the filming.
