Production Assistant, Casting

Production Assistant, Casting @ WATZS (Various Locations) 

 

Assignment Responsibilities:

​

  • Provide dynamic and cut-through production assistant support in close collaboration with the Creative Director and team

  • Ability to adhere to a training schedule in person or virtually 

  • Manage the full production assistant cycle of supporting the casting leadership team, from pre project assignments through day of delivery 

  • Execute specified assignments with flawless attention to detail 

  • Oversee real-time administrative assignments of casting call events, including networking dinners and more

  • Comfortable collaborating with executives 

  • Proactively contribute to team and inter-departmental brainstorms, offering insight from a support level perspective

  • Manage casting lists and talent check in with great attention to service rooted in integrity, patience and respect 

  • Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time

Skill Set & Qualifications:

​

  • 2-3 years relevant work experience in film and media 

  • Experience interfacing with high level executives and filmmakers 

  • Passionate about film production as a creative assistant 

  • Deep knowledge of film production support 

  • Intuitive understanding of WATZS approach to creating 

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Communicates clearly and effectively, with experience assisting executive leadership 

  • Thrives in a demanding, fast-moving and structured creative environment

  • Kind, teachable, diligent, resourceful

  • Working proficiency in Word, Excel and/or Teams a bonus

Our target pay for this assignment is $210.00 per project day. Opportunity includes round trip travel from your home base, hotel accommodations, and ground transportation within each casting city.
